Family memories of this favorite snack go back to the ‘50s, when party mix recipes circulated around the south. Our Maw Maw Boudreaux roasted her unique version of Trash mix. Spicy, crunchy and highly addictive, it became a staple in the cupboard and was plentiful at every party.
In 1968, our family and our recipes moved to Nashville, Tennessee. We brought Maw Maw’s Trash to picnics, served it at parties, and gave it as gifts. And people became fans.
